Welcome, Welcome by donttouchmymilk
Welcome, Welcome
Love love LOVE this shoot!  It turned out so well.  We found a wonderful location, basically by accident.  Gotta say, wearing this in the middle of downtown on a Saturday morning was an interesting experience.  Haha.

Anyway, this costume was a blast to make, and even more fun to wear.  There are over 560 butterfly wings on this costume, over half of which were cut out by hand, and all of which were individually attached.  Took a while, but I am very pleased.  In fact, I just finished some repairs in order to wear it again next month.  Can't wait!

Been way too long since I've posted a photo!
This shoot was a blast to do.  Cybil is such a badass.

This shoot was just amazing.  Took a lot of thinking and placement.  The photographer was just wonderful.

I'm Not Your Mary
Have a shot of Maria from my Mary/Maria shoot with AnimazeGuy-PhotosNXS!  This costume came together very quickly, and I love how it turned out.  And we found a perfect location to shoot in.

This was my first experience with dye-ing a wig.  I used sharpies, and it went very well.  Also, it's surprising how difficult it is to find pink leopard print fabric of any kind.  Took me a good while to get my hands on it.

Had a great time putting this together.  This is actually a part of a double shoot.  I shot in Mary, changed in the car, then went back out and did a shoot in Maria.  Can't wait to post those combined photos.  It was a blast.  Especially enjoyed shooting at this location.  Perfect combination of pretty natural environment, and buildings falling apart.

I love Mary's character, despite how little you actually see her in the game.  During the shoot, we tried to capture both her happiness with James, and the pain and sadness she's hiding just underneath.  I enjoyed it very much.

Hello there!
I'm Allie, or Donttouchmymilk.

I've got my Master's in Public Health Education, and am currently in Nursing school.

Although I'll occasionally do something different, I'm very drawn to makeup intensive costumes, especially those of the Survival Horror nature. Horror video games got me into cosplay, and they'll always be the most fun and most challenging to me. I'm always looking to learn more about costuming. Likewise I'm more than happy to share what I've learned. Just drop me a line!

No, I didn't die. I just started nursing school. ;) Had a little time over the holiday break to work on cosplay shenanigans, which was nice. And this past weekend, I went to Ichibancon, which I always enjoy.
Although I was only able to make it one day due to school, I had a blast. I finally premiered my Clicker from The Last of Us (about time, since it was mostly finished since like July), and it was tons of fun. I enjoy being able to represent games I love so much. I did a fun, though muddy shoot with Jayce, and I can't wait to get those pictures back and start posting them. I was also crazy honored to win first place in the Western division of the craftsmanship contest. I really couldn't believe it, and am humbled.
Unfortunately, Ichibancon will probably be my last con until Animazement in May. But hopefully I'll have some good stuff to show you between now and then.
Hope everyone had a good holiday and New Years! Happy crafting.
