I'm Ursula spamming, I know. But oh well. I LOVE how this picture turned out. I feel it captures a little more of Ursula's personality than my other poses.
Thanks to the amazing Ron Perez Photography for the photo. He was just amazing. Please check him out.
I really had a blast in this costume. It was really a pretty new feeling for me to cosplay a character that was constantly recognized. I enjoyed it.

Not sure how you got your skin so perfectly purple, but it looks great. :D

Thanks very much!  It's about 3 hours of makeup work, and was lots of fun to do.  :)

Thanks very much! She was a lot of fun to do. The makeup is a layer of clown white (to pale my pink skin and make an even base) with a layer of light purple Kryolan Aquacolors. I love that makeup. A little bit of water, and it paints on so smooth!

No worries! I can't get over how good you cosplayed her! :)
Your skin looks so good!! Like you did a good job of it! Is the paint expensive? How much did it cost you? Do you you think it's worth the money you pay for it? But I guess it's worth it if you want to cosplay her well. Or anyone with coloured skin well.
Sorry for all the questions, but last year I dressed up as Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games for Halloween, and I couldn't find a good white face/body paint! The one I got was horrible. I didn't end up using it because it just looked ridiculous! It looked so crusty. I just ended up using my own foundation, just without blush (because I'm pretty pale-ish anyway)
Thanks for getting back to me though! I appreciate it!

It's not too expensive, but definitely more than what you'd find at a Halloween store. At the same time, it's much MUCH better quality. They also last for quite some time. I painted myself from the chest up in that purple, and didn't make a dent in it.
I tend to buy these from Sillyfarm.com, because it actually has both of the brands I like in the same place. I've attached links below.
Both makeups are pretty easy to use, especially if you do a little google search. But I definitely recommend practicing before you wear them. Get used to them. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a line. I'm a novice myself, but I've definitely learned a bit.

Also, I wigged out a bit when you said you did Effie. I love that character, and would love to cosplay her one day. I'm so jealous. :)
